Adult Handbuilding: Planter or Vase, Choose!

We will create slabs to build a planter or vase, learn to join the slabs, design and apply surface texture and explore glaze combinations and layering. Participants will receive 5 lbs of clay and have access to slab the roller and other studio tools, glazing included. Participants should bring idea for their creation. We can create a Christmas gift, work on an idea that has been inspiring you or investigate the nature of building with clay. No previous experience with clay is required, ages 16-Adult. 5 hours of Open Studio time is included to help complete project during the 4 weeks of class.
